From dreary to dreamy!
It's not every day that you get blessed enough to head down to one of the best surf tournaments in the Country and it's only an hour or so away.
Bells beach every year hosts the World renowned Rip Curl Pro.
Brining out the biggest names in surfing with the likes of: Kelly Slater, Mick Fanning etc.
It was quite funny because there was this massive misconception that Kelly Slater was actually retiring and this was going to be his last surf - which it wasn't!
Torquay always puts on regardless of the weather, to say it was cold - was an understatement! Pouring with rain and 15 degrees, not exactly many people's cup of tea as far as a day out in the wilderness.
But in true Stellar style, I packed my very best glam friend up and introduced her to the world of surfing.
Spontaneity is probably one of my finest and most common character traits. People often joke about how they never know where I am, or what I am doing until they see me doing it. In this case it is true. I had planned to pack myself and my two surfboards into my Rangey with a bed in the back and no plans... This very much stayed the same - that was until my best friend Sarah whom I was out for lunch with, heard of my plan and thought it was time for her to cross over into the YOLO side and find out what it's like to spend a day or two, living the life of a nomad.
